THE NATIONAL JUNIOR BASEBALL LEAGUE IS PROUD TO
ANNOUNCE ITS UMPIRE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Each year, one former player from our baseball division and one from softball will be chosen to become an NJBL Certified Umpire. That person has shown his/her loyalty to our league and we are extremely happy to keep them with us for a long time to come.

The chosen parties will be able to attend either our baseball or softball Umpire Certification program at no charge. We believe our training to be the finest in the area and always strive to find the best people to accommodate our association’s needs.

This scholarship embodies several qualifying categories, not the least of which would be the moral fiber of the person. We can always train a good person to become a great official. That’s the easy part. The person chosen has already accomplished the hard part.

If you can suggest any future candidates, please e-mail Craig Roberts at: umpires@njblumpires.com
